Guilty Gear Xx Accent Core Plus R Custom Resolution
Guilty Gear 20 Λ Core Plus R , with Λ standing for "Emphasis", is the fifth and latest revision of Guilty Gear Xx and the overall twentieth installment of the Guilty Gear serial. Its rebalances gave "weaker characters more than weapons and options" and adapted the higher tier characters' battle styles.
It was outset released in 2012 for Sega's arcade system board, RingEdge 2, equally an update to Λ Cadre Plus. In 2019, it was re-released alongside the original Guilty Gear in a 20th Anniversary Pack.
Summary
Guilty Gear 20 Λ Core Plus R is a revised version of Guilty Gear Twenty Λ Cadre Plus, and follows the same plot.
Version differences
- The HUD is changed: a dissimilar colored health bar since the outset game and X (green HP bars indicate full wellness while the xanthous color is for below that amount), a unlike colored Burst gauge, new timer display, and a tweaked combo counter mechanic that shows invalid combos.
- Brand new Force Breaks are added in for a majority of characters such every bit Sol, Axl, Attestation, and Ky.
- Several special skills/command normals, particularly the characters' original command normals in previous games, are re-added (Ky and Jam'south classic + and Attestation'south + from Guilty Gear X, now being their + ).

- A number of characters with unique mechanics now have a quality-of-life timer gauge as indicators moved to simply above their Tension gauge (eastward.g. A.B.A in Moroha Mode and Zappa in Raoh style). Meanwhile, Eddie's already-pre-existing timer gauge for his summon is moved to the same spot to a higher place his ain Tension gauge likewise (as information technology was originally below his own Burst Gauge).
- Previous palettes on Color Set one are replaced with palettes that reference popular characters from other works, and the palettes reference characters from Arc System Works' other popular fighting game series, BlazBlue. In the arcade version, the old and palettes accept the place of the Gilt and Shadow colors.
- Robo-Ky'south default theme, which had previously been "Under Structure" ever since Guilty Gear XX ♯Reload, is changed to "Holy Orders?".
- Other tweaks involve bug fixes and move changes.
